Newsmax was moved to G13 127w TP 4140 H 30000, I can get it in the clear late at night around 10 pm pacific time until 4:35 am then the channel starts to re-encrypt and by 4:50 am audio and video is gone, signal drops tp 69% and quality is at...

Re: Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080
iq180 That's a nice trick, I found that when I cocked the LNBF in the scalar ring as far as it could go at an angle, I could get some transponders in the clear, but the ones I watched the most were gone, so I broke down and got the new LNBF, just to get back to watching tv again.

Re: Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080
Finally I got my picture and sound back in the clear, after getting a new linear actuator, and 2 more lnbf's, which didn't help, I got a Titanium Satellite C138 LNBF with 5G filter and all is well... I Thanks all who responded to the problem.

Re: Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080
Update, 23 hours spent on realigning my dish, azimuth 6 times, elevation 15 times, declination 16 times, using a digital and old style angle finders, it truly is amazing the difference between the degree readout of the instruments. I went through 3 different LNBF's and realigning them in different o...

Re: Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080
Thanks for the info Cpr43, It can't be shipped to the US, Mexico in fine though. What I have found is that 5G could be the problem, and there is an LNBF with a 5G Filter to cut back on the interference that I will be looking into. Things have calmed down some on my system using my old BSC 421 but 12...

Re: Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080
Lineman, I finally got 4080 to come in but all HD channels were so pixelated and audio was a mess, but the USA SD Channel came in with wide green lines and lavender splotches. 125 west has the most problems and the rest on my sat list is tolerable but still a slight mess. I am using my ole BSC 421 L...

Re: Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080
OK my internet is back up, using my BSC 421 LNB, transponder 4080 is at 78% signal and 72% quality but no audio or video. 4120 is up and at 72% but most of the time the quality is unstable, bouncing from 10% to 74%, 3900 and 3960 are bouncing up and down but watchable. Installed a Titanium Satellite...

Re: Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080
No I am not using a switch, I always turn off the receiver when I make a change. When I turned on my system this morning all I got was pixelating video and chattering audio on TP 4080 125 west, as the day progressed now all the sats in my list and all channels are doing the same thing, even FTA chan...

Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080
I am getting a 70% signal and 0% quality on Galaxy 14 125 W. TP 4080, I had to replace my LNBF just to get a non-pixelated picture on FTA TP's. Is anyone else have any problems with Galaxy 14 125W?

Re: Some FTA channels not working on west satellites
Right off hand... 103 W 4040 H 30000, 3840 H 30000 both of these are not receiving, 3740 V 30000 is working just fine.

Some FTA channels not working on west satellites
Some of the FTA marked channels come in fine and others do not come in at all, and some are pixelated, is there some kind of encryption going on with those transponders? I have the same problem with my V7 Max.

Re: SCART adapter question
Well, I have had no luck with your suggestions, my SCART adapter has no switch on it so I ordered one with a switch just in case. I had used this setup for years with my V-Max 7 with no problems at all. I was hoping it would work with the V8 UHD. Thanks for your reply, have a great day...

SCART adapter question
I have a wireless transmitter and several wireless receivers hooked to my TV's in other room, as to avoid running TV cable to each TV. The connection to the transmitter is RCA Plugs (Composite), so I got a SCART adapter with RCA plugs to plug into the back of my V8 UHD STB with intention of sending ...
