Thanks spc412, tried again with no success, even with DLNA on. Also tried with 'root' and 'admin' as user ID that often are the used word for connecting.
In any cause I got the ECONNREFUSED error message.
If, in the browser, I don't digit the :81, an unexisting page occurs.

Sincerely speaking, I don't agree to modify a working cable for getting the V8 UHD on.
I prefer that GT Media could change the firmware bringing its model to the standard!

Trying to connect my V8 UHD through local LAN (cabled), typing 192.168.0.119:81 into a browser, I get this message {"msg":"This is a test page!","resultcode":1}.

Tested Fransat card on Eutelsat at 5°W. The V8UHD doesn't open the French channels even if the card has been correctly recognized. Viacess crypting mode.
The same happened with other decodeders of different brands. The only working well is a Strong sold with the card in France.
