does v7plus has a over current trip on this connector.
if that is so, no triping means the current must be wihtin the safe range.
I will use this for some time and see.

I just connected it to box and it is working.

I have a gtmedia V7plus. For terrestrial receiving I am going to use a mast head amplifier with this.
is it possible to get the power from the receiver.
What is the voltage out? and what is the maximum current I can get from the receiver.

I am going to buy gtmedia v7pro. when checking the photos of it I did not see RS232 input for it.
does it have RS232 input?
if it does not have RS232 how can we flash the FW if some FW crash happed?

yes keep it off,
when program ask you to restart the box switch it on.

1 down load refresh tool viewtopic.php?f=51&t=7535
2 connect box to computor with your cable
then do the steps I mentioned.

Can somebody tell me is it possible to downgrade my GTmedia V8x to v319 from mars FW
with rs232, or any other means.
Or it is impossible to downgrade.

data flow is continuous and it uses considarale amount of data.

This was not there when using old fw v319

I am using metered network with my GTMEDIA V8X.
when connected to network through WIFI. I have noticed a data flow through WIFI. even when I am watching FTA channel.
this is a waste of money. please check this.

it does not work if you upgrade from older vertions of mars to v4898.
it wokrs if you install it fresh.
