GTMedia V7 TT - Freeze when open channel list and change channels

Hi,

I recently bought 2 GTMedia V77 TT, one have the version V266 and works great without freezes.. And the other have firmware version V296 and when I open channel list and search some channel or simply change channels the box freeze and buttons of controller don’t work and I need unplug from the charger and restart. I tried downgrade to V266 but don’t allow, I upgrade to V311 and the problem is the same.. is possible you fix on newer firmware or how I can downgrade?

Try a factory reset and then reload your channel list.
If the issue repeats then try factory reset and make a new channel list, set up your satellite antenna settings and blind scan in all the channels.
It may be an issue with changed channel list format in the new version.

Already try factory reset and I make new list with blind scan. I don't change the channel list.

The issue persists. I have friends also reporting same problem.

Any possibility to downgrade to V266 ? Its working great with V266.

Yes to down grade use the forced recovery method.

Hi,

I try force upgrade with V266 firmware renamed to flash.bin in root directory of usb pen but don’t work.

The box comes up showing on the lcd “FUP9” and on TV “Usb upgrade! Do not power off!” but restarts immediately without changes and on the same firmware version.. any help?

Cuando en la pantalla te pone FUPg y ha tardado pocos segundos rs porque no ha reconocido el firmwarez deberás de probar otra versión renombrada a flash.bin

But I need the version V266.. this version works good.

The box is on V296 and the latest version is V311, has the problem.

Have other version lower than V266?
