latest sw update on fv7c, fv7plus , fv7s & nova v8 (orange)

I have 4 of this stb and all already upgrade to the latest sw. Just wanted to share here that the latest sw upgrade file can open sony channel at intelsat20 @ 68.5E. After upgrade, it took about 5 to 7 minuite to get the sony channe tol open.

thank you for sharing this information.i have v7 hd STB.i used the software (latest hasmode 22/23/24if not mistake.)but after the upgrade there is no opening of Sony channels although I can view the discovery channels.the signal quality is around 50.the other discovery channels signal is 63 and showing.i have adjusted the dish but signal does not increase.i used to view the Sony channels at 63 quality...what cud be the problem and how to solve

on step 4(upgrade the channel list and import the softcam key....can someone explain how I go about that after STB has confirmed successfully completing the upgrade

To access the CS menu you move to the right in the network menu then press 6666.

For sony to open, i have to wait about maybe 5 to 7 minuite(maybe more). No need to readjust the dish as my sq alsoshos around 49-50% on sony chanl. Just wait..maybe it took more longer thanmine. Hope this could help.

As you can see my fv7 combo can open sony chnl aftr upgrading to lastest sw.

Hi
Upgrade chnnl list is the process you upgrade your stb with the user db+data file which you already back up in your usb drive. You can go to this process after sucessfully upgrading your stb to the latest version.
Import softcam key already being explained by our friend here.
