Hi all. I installed the new FW on my V7 HD but it hasn't added Facebook on and YouTube isn't there either. Just YouPorn (no access code required). Is the new FW faulty? Has anyone else found Facebook hasn't installed? Thank you.

Hopefully admin will pick up on this post and correct the FW. There is obvs a fault. As you say, just YouPorn which can't be hidden. No YouTube or FB.

no mention of facebook or youtube in the change log, perhaps wasnt implemented on this update.

1) backup the channel list(user db + system data).
2) export the softcam.key to usb device
3) update the firmware to box by allcode mode
4) update channel list then import softcam.key

Morning Feralkiwi. The new FW for the V7 HD isn't adding Facebook, has removed YouTube and made YouPorn unhidden. Is the FW faulty?

I found sound feed channel problems as well. Looks like it may have been rushed pre China new year.

I don't play with the net side of these boxes, just the sat stuff.

Hi Owen. My Max is fine. FB, YT and YP present and correct. My V7 HD not so much. Tyvm.

Importance Notice:
We found one bug:
the channel list(dumped by user db mode) don't be updated back in last fw. Please do the following step:
a)Update maincode
b)backup user db
1) 121.00W-3841-H-30000 powervu key generated.
2) some audio channel don't output sound

is that happened this? or your fault... please admin reply this... there is no facebook and you tube.. .. your update says this

i update by all code...

The log document contained within the download folder for the new FW does not mention FB at all, however the info' in the download centre does. One of them is a typo. I'm guessing it's the latter. No idea about YouTube.

I don't know why freesat makes new features only for other receivers, and doesn't make the feature avaliable for V7HD is this just because it is the cheapest one! and btw i don't know why they waste time adding facebook,just add a browser in our receivers!! it will be great!!

Nanitix007 I agree. And infact in this update they've robbed us of YouTube and made YouPorn upfront, which I'd rather it wasn't. The Facebook platform on my 'Max is pretty basic too, no big shakes.

Hmmm, the subtitle position is odd and the font looks ugly.
I prefer the old subtitle font.

The new software has set some channels to the second audio feed, a blank feed set to APid 0000.
Use the audio button and select the first audio feed to fix.

I found that it changed back to "0000" on some channels so I when back to the older software.

dear. v7 HD box donot support Facebook . no more space for it .we checked it at v7 combo and max .

No Facebook, Just Youporn. The most joking ever.

Facebook support only v7 Combo and Max.
