The receiver may have got too hot, disconnect all cables, let it cool down.
Make sure that the receiver has plenty of air around it, raise it a little, (use a cake stand).
Just in case, check your lnb settings, all connections etc.

Look for a bird sitting in the C band LNB.
I had that with a low sat.

Also have had spiders in the LNB that sit with one leg on the LNB pickup pin and the others on the ground case.

The spider web suggestion is very clever as I did notice some this morning.
I will raise the unit as suggested.
I have a usb stick in one port and a wifi dongle in the other. Do these increase the heat in the unit?

Yes the USB ports will use power and make the 5V supply in the box work harder / hotter.
Some users in hot areas use a PC fan on the box.
