GTMedia V7 Pro does not power up

Post by Marcel46 »

The receiver does not have the red light when powered up. There is a tiny green light that is flashing. Is it any method to power up this receiver? Thanks!

The red light should be on when the receiver is in (Standby), when you switch the receiver on, it should boot, then go to last channel viewed.
With having a flashing Green light, you need to remove the HDMI lead, switch off the receiver at the rear.
Leave for a couple of minutes, put the HDMI lead back in, then switch back on, should then Boot etc.

A flashing green light may be a power supply issue or a LNB cable fault.
Try power on with all disconnected.

Try another power supply.

If powers on to just steady green led, do a forced recovery.
