Hello all,

i bought a v7 max, but i didnt realize that it has no lan connection.
Is there any wifi stick that works on a v7 max?
I already tried different wifi sticks, but they are not working.

I tried a hama, fritz, samsung and this one

Any USB WiFi adapter with the same chipset as the original WiFi adapter works, it is the same one that jynxboxes and openboxes support, because as you said it, shipping to some parts of the world is almost 10 times the cost of the WiFi adapter. Only way it would be worth it is if you bought like 20 WiFi adapters.

I have mine working fine with a USB WiFi adapter with the chipset: Ralink RT5370. But be careful, v7's get VERY VERY hot with a USB device connected to it and there have been cases of v7s malfunctioning and even one blew a fuse (I think it was a very very small fuse) so the best choice is to have a small PC ventilator blowing cool air or extracting cool air off the FreeSat v7 (one of those small fans that power supplies in computers have).

This one works fine with Freesat boxes. I had bought 100 pcs all sold, no negative feedack. After that I bought another 100 genuine ones from Winsat, all sold, no difference but more expensive.

I used both genuine wifi adapter and same sinidufdo's brand from aliexpress are OK. Don't have anyone complaint.

i am not a rich person ,living on house money, i am a student in telecommunication field..(HND) i try to do experiment ... that is why i bought freesat receiver.. it is cheapest receiver..... thank you all helping me....
