This problem I inform to product developer already in v8 finder comment post. but I uncertainly this problem will be correct or improve next firmware, Right now I hope they will improve this bug for us which now signal bar will shown up after scan TP finished already.

Re: Freesat v8 finder
Please note that the V8 Finder power supply makes a 22kHz tone on the LNB output that switches any 22kHz switch in your system.phot9724 wrote:Freesat v8 finder when connected to lnb head, then strength bar % Did not show up at all Sometimes show up Both lnb is set to be correct. Update fw.
If you had a twin LNB or a 22kHz switch this would have been switched and that LNB use instead of the one you hope for.
This is a hardware fault and can not be fixed with firmware.
The LNB in the pic is the standard NZ Sky twin LNB. Connecting the V8 Finder to this LNB results in it being switched to the second section (Optus C1 satellite) and not the main LNB (Optus D1) by this 22kHz tone from the power supply.
This may be why you do not see the signal bar with the V8 finder, but the dish works with the set top box.

Re: Freesat v8 finder
It's not about 22k, just lnb. There is no bar strength bar on the c-band. The signal bar must have a bar strength of% bar. It should show up when the cable is connected. Signal to head lnb

Re: Freesat v8 finder
The fix with this software was to fix "Exit" from blind scan.Eak_Dumnern wrote:Freesat v8 finder new release on 06-06-2017 you can try >>> http://freesat.cn/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1746
No information this new firmware.
The previous version had fixed this partly and allowed an "Exit" from scan after a TP was found.
This version allows "Exit" from scan at any time.
