Firmware official or not?

Hi, sorry moderators but why have 2 other firmwares been released for the Mars v8uhd and you don't include them here? They are not official, they are perhaps dangerous

They have now just started to get the receivers updated with Mars software OTA plus getting the softcam done the same way.
For the V8UHD, V8588 dtd 31 OCT 2023, was the latest unless there is a newer one.
It would have nice to let us users know that this was going to be the case, instead finding out from other forums.

For the update.
As yet the V8UHD does not show V8734, will leave the receiver on overnight and see that a update comes to the receiver. 2215hrs 11 Nov 23.

New Mars, Ecam, Lacam and others will now be classified as 3rd party. GTMedia logo is now removed from Firmwares and releases will be in different place. And also you can do the online upgrade from Mainmenu-->APP-->Update ,if Mars is already installed.

I know of the above updates, but when more updates are required, plus the likes of the V8 Turbo / V7 Pro etc.

As I mentioned in one of my posts it would be great if GTMedia team can provide a USB upgrade version to revert back from Mars to official firmware. It because most of the users does not have technical knowhow to use RS232 method to install official firmware.

And what about the official firmware? is it working finally? We had to switch to Mars because it did not work, so what about now? cccam lines and that is all?

The last bin GTMEDIA V8UHD Firmware (10/11/2023), don't do auto roll chanels Fox sports SAT 117 west and SportsMax and SportsMax2 SAT 55west.

Hello everyone, in fact, I have tried to return from mars to eccam without success. I have already tried several methods with the recommended cables and nothing can be done. We require gtmedia to run a firmware to return to eccam.

Mars will now be located and discuss in different location as posted. Still attached or named under GTMedia though. All receivers will still going out with latest original GTMedia FW as posted in here download section.
