Hello, the led tube of the freesat v8 has failed, does anyone know the model or where to buy it to be able to change it ??

I would not worry much about that failure as it is only the display.

You could check the solder joints inside the box, but unless you use the STB as a clock why worry.

Hi,

I could not find the V8 LED module.
Therefore it can not be purchased for replacement.

If it is DOA (Initial Defect), you can request exchange from the seller.
If it was purchased on Ebay, PayPal or Alibaba you can exchange it.

Is initial defect, I buy it in aliexpress store spain, but I am asked to send it to china for repair, which costs me more shipping than a new appliance, very unhappy with the seller I am

Shipping cost is always a stop to sending things back.

It is something I accept when I buy.
You could buy locally and pay three time as much for having the peace of mind that you can return it to the local store who could tell you NO anyway.

I remember the 1980's when people used "white out" on their computer screens to make text correct that the computer had wrong. Maybe put a picture in front of the unit and ignore the display.

Like a misprinted stamp this unit may be worth more later.

All jokes aside if it still works what does it matter.
I never look at the display anyway.

If the receiver works well I would not treat
To fix it.
I had a box of another brand with that problem
and still works.
