unable to receive frequencies from around 113.. mhz to 117.. mhz

hello,

i have a v8 gtmedia and recently some channels i watch were moved to new frequencies.

i have reset and fully retuned but cannot get anything from aroun 11340 to 11700 mhz

one example is Talking Pictures TV: 11343.50MHz, pol.V (DVB-S SR:27500 FEC:5/6 SID:55225 PID:2300/2301 English- Clear).

the gtmedia box says this is eutelsat 28a but i believe that might not be the actual satellite.

no problems with other channels such as al-jazeira, sky news, sky arts, cnn, etc....

i am in southern spain.

any ideas?

Hi,

Some of these transponders transmit on UK beam, I don't think you can receive them from the south of Spain.

GT Media V8 set-topbox has nothing to do with it.

hi there, thanks, i did not think it was the gt media box at fault but i thought somene here would know what i was doing wrong!

i guess i could watch the transmissions up until last week as the frequencies were on a transponder that covered southern spain, but the new frequencies are not.
