Hello all. I purchased a super v8 from ebay about a week ago. I have been reading the forum for knowledge. I was able to install the north America sat list and the latest sw. I have a BUD so I was able to scan 101w. I could only get one powervu station in the clear which was porn. I am confused with the biss key, cccam, and do I need a server? Can some on pls PM me with more info.

No you don't need a server for powervu, update your receiver with the newest software in the software section, there are powervu EMM keys in the software so the receiver will auto roll to open CHs, BTW, you need to put the receiver on a powervu CH that is not open and just let it sit there for up to 1 HR for auto roll to find new ECM keys that will open all CHs on that TP.

How long it takes all depends on how often the powervu provider sends updates, it can be only a few seconds or an HR, I have seen it take up to 3 HRs.

Thanks, I was able to get 99w, A F N. Still no luck with 101w. No sure if I have the right format for key input.
