V8 SUPER - SAT2IP not working after update

Hello all,

When i bought my box, it came with stock firmware (i think) and i was able to see SAT2IP very good in my PC and Android Phone (booth with VLC player).

After last update, SAT2IP is working horrible, very unstable and everytime i need to turn off/on the box to watch programs again. In stock firmware i was able to watch in my android phone and working good and after update is not working anymore.

Can someone share your experience with SAT2IP?

PS: I've tryied to downgrade firmware to stock version but box cant accept downgrade firmwares versions.

Im very sad because the most impportant function (for me) was the sat2ip and now its hard to get it work.

After a lot of tests, the only way i get it working is:

1- turn on box
2- wait til box boot complete (wifi turn on and programs working)
3- turn on SAT2IP feature (dont close this menu)
4- Go in windows pc (vlc player)
5- uPNP feature
6- choose the channel and start to see.

BUGS:
when change channels more than 4 or 5 times the SAT2IP crash and stop work. The only way to work again is: turn off/turn on and do all steps again.
in this last version of firmware, channels dont show up in Android phone anymore (VLC PLAYER). In stock firmware android phone was working well.

Hello, I use VLC on android and pc. The method you are given works but it is unstable and it is not practical.
I tried my downgrad system. nothing came, not to return
The tried method is as follows:
1- disconnect Power supply4
2- insert key usb, firmware file named "flash.bin"
3- connect supply and pressing the "menu"
4. A message will appear firmware upgrade do not disconect ...

I have the message, the USB key is on, but nothing changes

I think the only way to downgrade firmware is by RS232.

Now, the only easy way to get it work well will be Freesat Team release a new firmware with a correction for this bug....

Yes you are right . the RS232 has to be the only soultion.

then off demodulator,
on demodulator.
1 / menu
2 / search setting
3 / lcn <on
4 / sat ip is

This solution works perfectly on anywhere support.
I think when windows searched networks that the plant sat ip

Then select >install settings
Under that you can see LCN by default it ll be off so you have to on it.
I tried it's working.

Are you saying to deactivate Discover Networks on Microsoft Windows operating system?

Did you try to run on adroid phone? it works?
