Hi,
On the home screen the weather forecast keeps updating all the time, is this normal?

Yes.
Assuming the G4 is a android box, you can disable the app in the settings, all apps if you want.

Yes, is an Android box. I understand that there is no solution to show the forecast?. What is the name of the app?

Normally it will be called weather.
Add a weather web site to your browser favorites that works better for your area.
