RS232 Cable for V8 Super

I've noticed there are a couple different types of 3.5 mm plugs some with three and some with four contacts. Which cable do i need to get to re-program the v8 super.

3 contacts must be in your jack

helo the cable RS232 is for the v8 or I can use it for the v7 hd too and the jack where I can plug it and the v7 hd I see the same at headphone jack can I plug it and the jack audio video and the v7 hd please help me

The RS232 connector on the V7HD is inside on the board.
The 3.5mm jack on the back is for the AV out only.

This topic here shows the V7HD RS232 connection.
