Thanks Stretch What receiver are we talking about?I am using a V8UHD and all I see is a series of 1F's and zeros.

Have got a v8x, the v8uhd is in the room with the wife, will check it later when i can.

Found the info required, Menu / Network / CA System / move curser to the right / 6666 / move curser to softcam / OK / ConstantCW / OK / Add.
The information should then come up.

I have done want you said early on and like I said,all I see is 1F's and zeros.I added this and got nothing.What do you see when you do this on your box?Thanks CH

I do not use that that part of the menu, sorry i cannot help.

Yes some models report default info, 1ffff, not the real stuff, a pity as the units that do report give useful info.

Thanks Stretch, you helped me get this info out on the V8UHD and yes Feralkiwi, it is ashame this receiver lacks the capabilities.
