Yesterday we lost Lotus Macau from Asiasat 7@105.5e.
They moved to HD on Apstar 7 @76.5E.
Today I have lost Russia Today news channel from Optus D2@152e.
No warning that this was happening.
There is a SD feed on Asiasat 7@195.5e and a H.264 feed, that is jumpy today, on Intelsat19@166e.
Rt still appears to be on SkyNZ PayTV service.
Before wars the media is shut down. RT tells me what is happening.
With many other PayTV channels now on secure encryption there is little point in having a yard full of dishes.
It has been great while it lasted, but now there is so little to watch.
Usable value of satellite dishes decreasing, scrap metal value increasing.
