Hello everyone! I need help. I updated the V8X like I've done dozens of times now with the latest firmware. Saved the softcam and db files, and imported everything back. And it's not decoding. Maybe a fresh set will help. Thanks a lot!

If you changed to the Mars software, that is the problem.

Check the longitude is set for BISS.
Try deleting and rescanning the channels in question.
Try reloading the DB and softcam.
Remember you need to rename the softcam from export_softcam.

V347 25 Sept 2023, is just normal software, and NOT Mars.
What channels do you have issues with, maybe other users in your region will be able to confirm if you require keys etc.

Hi Den,

This is the only channel with problems. Every other channel here is working like normal after the update. I got confirmation it's not opening for others too. Beginning to think it's just a pure coincidence that it happened to me after a firmware update. Possibly newer keys needed or another version of PowerVu is being used here. Cleaned out a lot dead keys in the Softcam file, and still nothing here. Have tried multiple STBs and files. That's why I have IPTV too! It's a bummer because Sportsmax will be one of the few satellite spots in the Americas & Caribbean for Paris Olympics.
