I find the same thing with the GT Combo.
It will not blind scan a SR of 1414, but will TP ADD and scan.
(Eutelsat 172B@172e 4197H1414 "NBC TV PNG")

These lower SR TP's take some time to lock when you first go to them in the TP menu or at channel change.
I think the faster scans of today miss them due to this time to lock.

Some GT Media units did have a "Accurate" scan that was slower.

Perhaps this is what is needed.

Thanks @Feralkiwi for reply.
Yes you're right ! GT Combo need more time to lock too.
Perhaps it is worth returning to slower blindscan with slower scan.
Tuner of model V9 Prime is really incredibly responsive look at this at my photos tuner lock and scan.
But somethimes tuner need more time to scan although signal is LOCKED (SR lower than 300)
I don't expect blindscan find such low SR but if signal in manual scan is LOCK that manual san will be slower.
GT Media V9 Prime can do it

the original firmware cannot go below SR 300
whereas "Mars" can go lower ( for example it sometimes finds sr 255)
Wouldn't it be possible to change the lower SR search limit for the original firmware?
It's the same tuner, so if it's possible for Mars, it's also possible for the original.

Agreed, a great request. Just hope 'they' read and listen to you. Thanks, Happy New Year to all here.
