Does V8 Finder2 and V8 Finder meter support wide band LNB?

Post by stachu99 »

Does V8 Finder2 and V8 Finder meter support wideband LNB With LNB freq. 10410MHz and output frequency 290-2340MHz?
I have a V8 Finder2 and there is LNB freq. 10000, 10500, 10600 MHz but 10410 is not available and TP frequency chosen to calculate below 950MHz is out of range, e.g. LNB freq. 10500MHz (should be 10410) and TP freq. 11000MHz (output 590MHz), there is a message 'Out of range'.

I have seen a video that v8 finder meter supports output frequency from 290MHz and TP frequency could be set for that lower output frequency.
So. do you have any sa tfinder product with the support of wideband LNB freq. 10410MHz and output frequency 290-2350MHZ?

Thanks Feralkiwi.
Ok. V8 Finder2 does not support wideband LNB.
What about V8 Finder meter and V8 Finder Pro?
What is output range frequencies?

I will have a look at my two units.

If it is not in the finder2 I suspect it is not in the others, but will check.

Updated to latest software on the Finder pro and NO option for wide band.

I think the 5750/5150 or 5150/5750 option does the full band as that is for the One Cable Solution C bad LNB.
The setting is for the OCS LNB that moves the H and V to the one setting so other boxes can share.
The 5150 is the H and the 5750 is the V polarity, using the full band.
That may not help as the freq's will be in c band values.

Options are on Finder Pro
3620, 5150, 5750, 5950, 10000, 10050, 10450, 10600, 10700, 10750, 11250, 11300, 5150-5750, 5750-5150, 4x universal's and 2x Unicable.

If Finder Pro doesn't accept LNB freq. 10410MHz means the firmware is limited but not the hardware. Finder Pro supports terrestrial frequencies.
Terrestrial freqs cover lower wideband LNB freqs.

The V8 Finder2 and V8 Finder Meter are designed to support LNB frequencies of 10000, 10500, and 10600MHz. However, you have mentioned that the LNB frequency you require is 10410MHz, which is not available in the default options of these devices. This limitation can pose a challenge when attempting to align your satellite dish accurately.
