Hello .
are the X8 series receivers able to find through the blindscan
very close frequencies? (example satellite 62 ° East)
can we enter these very close frequencies in the frequency list?
I read that below 4 MHz it was not possible.
if so, can it be changed with a next SW?

Re: Reception of very close frequencies
You could set up two sats on the sat list and have every second TP manually entered on each sat.stephan94 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 6:47 amHello .

The do an auto scan (scan from the TP list).

Re: Reception of very close frequencies
Hello Owen
thanks for that advice.
i will try as soon as possible.
if I understand correctly, it will not be possible after a new update.
This minimum interval between two frequencies cannot be modified.
for this tuner.

Re: Reception of very close frequencies
They can make those changes to the units Yes.
They have made changes like that before.
It is things like making a unit use a TP with a higher SR needs hard wired software, so changing from max SR of 45000 to 49000 needs a new unit.
As the blind scan uses the internal clock to find the frequency, many reported frequencies can be out by 2 or 3MHz anyway.
Your LNB will also drift off frequency too, so check what you get with blind scanning and set your other frequencies for the same offset that you scan on the ones you find.

Thank you very much for your response giving me hope that this improvement can be made.
I have no problem with the LNB because I use a PLL LNB and these have a very good stability, they have very little
drift and I receive without problem these programs with very close frequencies and low sr
Have a nice day and hope this change can be made

Re: Reception of very close frequencies
I just gave it a try.
First I used "GTMEDIA_V7 V8_DB_EDITOR"
to write all the frequencies that are very close to each other
and that the GTMedia V8 turbo does not accept to write because too close.
I loaded the modified "v8turbo_db.bin" into the receiver and made a
searches for a frequency one after the other.
The GTMedia V8 Turbo found all the programs and was able to differentiate
programs of two frequencies with only 1MhZ apart, something that very few receivers are not able to do, therefore very good result.
It would be very practical if in the future the limit between two frequencies that can be written in the receiver
does not stay at 4 MHz but either reduced to 2 MHz or even better 1 MHz, because the receiver is capable of
to separate these two frequencies.
