Question about V7Pro DiSEqC

Re: Question about V7Pro DiSEqC
With the photo's and the diagram, helps a lot, so having 16 dishes within your system, with a lot of switches.
There will be a way around this issue, will have to put our thinking caps on.
Having just read about the (S16/1PCP-W3) switch, you just connect each dish to the switch, which in turn goes to the receiver.
You DO NOT require any other switches, with the (DIP Lever 1 set to ON).
Best way to do this, is take one satellite at a time, take a lead from the lnb to the FIRST input on the switch, connect a lead from the switch to the receiver, switch on the receiver, go to the satellite required, go to (Diseq 1.1) then scroll (Right) Port 1, you should get a signal, if you already have channels scanned in for that satellite, great, just confirm that they are correct. Making sure you have the correct lnb setting, depending on what lnb's you have, Universal (9750-10600) is the main setting to receive signals from the (KU) band. If all is correct, we now move onto the next satellite, we do all this again, BUT this time the SECOND input on the switch, on the receiver, on the (Diseq 1.1) you go to second setting Port 2, do this to each satellite till complete. As you go along setting up your satellites, make a note of what satellite is against what switch/diseq setting, for when you cable everything up.

Since 2006 when your receiver was made, tech wise things have got smaller/smarter, receivers can decode channels with keys built within the software etc. xxxxxxx.
