Re: 3900v @ 125w
3900 v 29079 125w--- these used to light up but no longer do. Anyone have a remedy? Some channels are beginning to move around. Caracol S2 move to 127w. Some NBC, Universal move from 125w to 123w. So the best will be to delete all channels from this mux and re-scan the TP to see if they still there...

Re: 131 WEST 3980H
I was just getting ready to start a thread on this until I noticed this one. Good thing I noticed it before starting a thread about the same topic. Can someone also PM the keys that light this MUX? None of the channels are currently working for me. If these are the same channels @ 103 W, initially I...

Re: 3860H @131w
As to 3860 H, does anyone ever have issues with this signal? The signal is not stable for me. During the day this signal won't even lock. Maybe it's on my end, I don't know. My wife likes a particular channel in the Mux, where that same channel is also in the 3940 H Mux, thus why I'm hoping to get t...

Re: 3860H @131w
3940 H on this same satellite, 131w, is there any way to light this up? This mux used to light up when it was at 127w, but not lighting up for me at 131w.

On my V7S HD 2 of these channels are open, the rest aren't. Can the other channels in the Mux be lit up as well?

Re: V7S HD and North America Satellites
These are nice boxes that have an affordable price and really have a simple UI that after setting it up you rarely have to move things in it. and after setting it as you like simple to do a backup. Happy setting! I think I lucked out on this one. I was expecting an unopened brand new Freesat V7 HD,...

Re: V7S HD and North America Satellites
Also while it's still on my mind, can you flash a V7S HD with V7 HD firmware, or will it mess things up? For some reason the blindscan is not working as well as it was on the V7 HD. On the V7 HD when I did a Blindscan on 125w, for example, it always scanned in 200 plus channels. On the V7S it is on...

Re: V7S HD and North America Satellites
Just do a back up of your data of your V7HD, rename it V7S and reinput into your new receiver. Den As to my V7 HD, can't do that. No way to access the data to back it up. So I was meaning flashing it with firmware, such as FREESAT_V7_HD_20190822.zip in the Download Center, as an example. So what I ...

Re: V7S HD and North America Satellites
Recently my Freesat V7 HD bit the dust. So I found another box and ordered it. It was supposed to be a Freesat V7 HD like the one I had. But when it arrived, after having been shipped from China to me here in the US, it turns out I got sent a GTMedia V7S HD instead. Is it possible to load the conte...

Re: V7 HD not responding to remote.
I was rummaging thru my closet tonight and ran across an ir extender, except it's USB. I think it came with either a sat or tv tuner pci card I bought maybe 15 years ago. So I plugged it into the USB port on V7 and the extender powers up, except it doesn't respond to the remote of course. I wish I k...

Re: V7 HD not responding to remote.
With the V7 HD unplugged from AC at the time, of course, and after my last post in this thread, I opened the V7 and started fidgeting with the remote sensor and ended up breaking the thing completely off the board. The unit still works though, so didn't fry anything. Is there anything I can do at th...

Re: V7 HD not responding to remote.
If you have a backup IRD you can use meanwhile then go for it... do the reflash.... you will know straight away as it requires you to hit 'menu' on the remote to start the process... if that works then I wud think that all will be ok... fingers crossed...GOOD LUCK. I tried to reflash it, tried nume...

Re: V7 HD not responding to remote.
But if I tried a reflash and that actually worked, but that the unit was still not responding to the remote after the reflash, I would have no way to watch anything, not even 97w. Can anyone advise me what to do at this point? Yes... quite a decision, if it were me I would leave it the way it is un...

Re: V7 HD not responding to remote.
Hi there I am Teddy Grimstad Civil Engineer ! Your issue with the remote is quite common with this receiver. I have had this issue as well and and Owen explains the remote is very sensitive to NOT being able to see the receiver eye on the unit itself. I have mounted a tiny FAN on the cooler (Change...

Re: V7 HD not responding to remote.
Hi 901, sorry to read about your problem.... if you have a cellfone with a camera you can check to see if the remote is sending out by placing the remote close to the camera lense, and when you push a button on the control you will see a flashing on the screen of the camera. I hope I have explained...
