It doesn't work with V7 Pro and V8UHD, it works with V9Prime, that version in particular has bugs and is difficult to organize

Hello. You can enable the preset db and XML DB function in GTMedia V8Finder Max in USB Backup and USB Upgrade. Thanks.

The problem is not with the editor, your DB file is all zero's! I looked at your file with HexEditor and there is only 00 00 00 00 for the whole file. H 264 or H 265 is a hardware capacity not firmware.

Formatted the hard drive on the PC the result is negative. GTMEDIA GTX Combo doesn't work with my hard drive. There are no problems on the PC and the Zgemma h9 twin receiver, everything is detected and works. Something was overdone with the software.

Lining recommended formatting it on a PC using the full long format method. My PC gives up part way through. The quick format in the PC works, but still it does not work in the GTX. Owen I'll try to format it on a PC first, as I wrote Lining. I'll write the result in the evening. I don't understand...

That is because the drive is not "Seen".

Is it a SSD, solid state drive, or a hard disc drive?

My GTX would work with an old Hard drive, but not with the 2Tb SSD.

I have a 250 GB SSD drive. Write down how you set it up. I don't see the point in buying a 2TB SSD drive if this one doesn't work properly. Thank you.

There should be a menu setting in the DVB app to select what drive your PVR's are recorded on.

Check you have that set.
