As I mentioned in one of my posts it would be great if GTMedia team can provide a USB upgrade version to revert back from Mars to official firmware. It because most of the users does not have technical knowhow to use RS232 method to install official firmware.

It is now confirm that Mars is not officially promote here when they remove GTMedia logo from firmware. It is easy to switch from standard firmware to Mars using USB. But it is very hard to switch back. Why can't GTMedia team develop a solution to revert back from Mars to original firmware using USB...

I also noticed the same and informed previously.

I've noticed that after upgrading to Mars version, the encrypted channels that I watch using a C line is getting stuck. The same C line works in my V8 Nova without any problem. Can someone confirm the same.

Thank you for the update. Hope GT Media team will fix this as this is a long standing issue since they release the unit to the market.

In my V8 Nova Blue it connects to WIFI superfast not like V8UHD. What I want to elaborate here is the unit always switch to the ethernet during startup and switch back to WIFI if WIFI is enabled. I have configured my V8UHD to connect to the network using WIFI. I've observed that there is a delay when connecting to WIFI network during startup. As display in Pic 1, V8UHD initiates WIFI opening during startup. In Pic 2 it is waiting for WIFI connection and WIFI is enabled in the display as well...

Further it would be great GT Media team provide a fix for disappearance EPG when changing one sat to another. It won't get loaded when switch between channels in different satellites. Further, this problem is not there in my V8 Nova blue.

Does V8Nova supports HEVC format?. I can hear sounds of these FTA channels but the picture is not available. It is also observed that some HEVC format
FTA channels that has test card is visible. The sat I am looking at is 95E SES 12 TP 12224 H Sr 40000. Please refer attached Lyngsat details.

It does not work. I checked with two providers 2 satellites. This was working till v237. It seems like the box does not update the time during the startup. However, when I change the time zone back and forth it updates automatically.

It is set to +5.30 GMT not manual. The box does not update the time from the satellite.
