Update:
SRV1 to SRV7 are now on 101w ku.
So I am totally wrong in my 1st post. My c and ku are focused on 101w.
I didn't know this when I posted.
So all is good after all.
Thank you all for the replies though, all viable answers.

Cozi-TV
Does anyone know why Cozi TV is disappearing from 103w and 99w Ku band?
Great free channel.
Is it leaving or moving?
Thanks.

12ft dish-c/ku lnb-c=101w, ku=103w ??
Hi everyone. My cband 12ft has a c/ku band lnb. When I maximize signal for 101w MeTV, if I switch to the ku setting I got Srv 1 thru 7 on 103w. My motor setting on 103w is off. Neither disecque nor Usals. If I go back to Cband and move dish just 1 pulse to the west, my ss on MeTV goes from 63 to 54....

Re: Dividing recordings in parts
Might be useful here. Worth a try. In my GTX Combo, NTFS, showed "safely ejected" so HDD was unusable. Fat32 saw HDD and let me record to limit. ExFat let me record past the sizelimit. Don't know if anyone has tried, if not, maybe someone can try exFat and see if same is true in overcoming the limit...

Usals calculate a 15degree error on GTXCombo
Good day everyone. I punch in my local settings like I always have. I select 103w for Cozi. My sat scans channel from 117w. I select 89w and change my local settings by 1 degree and I can scan 103w. How do I resolve this. BTW on my Openbox S9 the correct lat/long give me 103w at the 103w settings so...

Re: GTX COMBO SSD/HDD Hard Disk
Just a side note, may be irrelevant, but I got "safely ejected" with NTFS formatting.
I got functional drive with Fat32 and exFat.
ExFat got me past the filesize issue, allowing larger recordings.
Hope this helps.

Re: GtCombo, 4:2:2, VLC Media player.
I happen to be looking at an old Config file for an old version of GTShare. 0.7xx something. Anyway, in there I saw mention of configuring VLC media player as the player for the program. 1) Could this be part of why 4:2:2 plays so smooth with GTShare? 2) If we could configure GTShare to use VLC, cou...

Re: GTX COMBO SSD/HDD Hard Disk
Hi. I formatted different ways couldn't make it see HDD. Tried again NTFS, pushed the HDD in but seemed like it could go just a bit more. Pushed harder, felt it very slightly click. My 320g shows as 298g, but it has been "safely ejected". Reformatted Fat32, CLICKED it in, bingo, good 298g HDD. Teste...

Re: GTXcombo
Atsc-T scans nothing for me.
I take the antenna cable out and move to Samsung or Sony TV, and get 38 channels.
Back to GTX Combo, it scans nothing the hangs at 100% and never moves on to next step.
Any ideas?

Re: GtCombo, 4:2:2, VLC Media player.
I have to agree with the previous poster, VLC is a free player. At least, if you don't or can't use it for proprietary reasons, show us how we can default it ourselves. Show us how to default to the players you have, so we can on our own, default to VLC. BTW, today ABC feeds on GT Combo weren't perf...

Re: GtCombo, 4:2:2, VLC Media player.
How do you do that?
How do you run the satellites in the VLC?
I have a GT and GTX and would like to try, as we have the ABC open channels available to try.

Re: GtCombo how to remember channels and move Disecq dish
OK. I saw in another post that when you press OK, then press Left Arrow, the Sat list comes up. It does. :D Then when I pick a different sat its channels come up. If I pick one the dish moves. Everything now works fine. The only problem left is the occasional freezing, that is a software issue I am ...

Re: GtCombo how to remember channels and move Disecq dish
Thank you Owen for the suggestions. I did not go into Preferences in Disecq 1.2 Menu. Doing that and selecting the Position numbers, the dish started moving, AND the box switched in Disecq 1.0 choices. Fantastic. If I select channels from different Sats in a Fav list, it works perfect now, as far as...

Factory Reset GtCombo How to
Hi folks.
To do Factory, is that in the DVB app, wipe data, Oris that in the Main Android section?
Will I lose any added apps like VLC doing it there?
My intention is to clear all Sat settings, position, and switch settings and start fresh.
Which way is best.
Thanks.

Re: GtCombo how to remember channels and move Disecq dish
Hi Owen, I will take the xml file from the gtcombo, and I'll also include the sdx from the v8x. The GTCombo and V8x sit side by side. I take the cable out of the GTCombo and move it to v8x. Works perfect. Select cband disecq 1, or ku on disecq 2, all works perfect. Ku moves with usals commands, cban...

Hi again everyone, Thanks for your help Owen. I scanned sats again as per your instructions. After scanning I look in Channel management. Left column(Group) shows my sats. Right column shows my channels from the scan. I picked a handful of channels and marked them as Fav1. I exit from Menu, select t...

Format differences between Receivers
Good day all. I have V8X and GTCombo. I see elsewhere that format for PV; P 0000 00 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx00 on V8X, but P 000000 00 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx on GTCombo. Both have 14 x's, both have same amount of 0's, but placement varies. Is there a list, or if someone knows, can we be shown, or emailed the format d...

Re: GtCombo how to remember channels and move Disecq dish
Hi All, Lots of great answers. Support here is amazing. I obviously have a lot to learn about GT Combo. I have been using V8X for about 2 years. On V8X I scan each satellite 1 by 1. It saves the channels, and I save that sat position. Example, start at 135w, save as position 1, then save channels. M...

Re: GtCombo how to remember channels and move Disecq dish
Hi and thanks for reply. I can't use Usals because this is on the 10ft. It is set to all positions 58 to 135 on V8X. Works beautiful there, any channel I select, the dish goes to correct sat. When I swap to the combo, I have to use left/right until I get signal I want. The Combo doesn't seem to comm...

Thank you both for your replies. BWE, thank you for noticing the dish in back. I was told 10 ft, but it measures 11 :) . No complaints. The one where I showed the bolts, that is a Prodelin 4ft. I am assuming the elevation setting on that one will be a fair bit lower due to the offset. Anyone guess i...

Hi all, On my GT Combo, 4:2:2 PLAYS but the video is staggered and eventually lags the audio. This is seen on the FTA ABC channels. I have seen that VLC player has no issues with this format. Is there a way to make GT Combo default to VLC to play these stations? I have downloaded VLC through Playsto...

GtCombo how to remember channels and move Disecq dish
Hello everyone. New GTCombo. Nice box. Added Kodi works perfectly. Scans channels, and watchable until next sat scan, then new ones appear, but previous scan disappears.
