Re: NewsMax tv
I just checked 125.0w and TP-3900-V-29080 is dead. Hi. I may not be the best to just signal by. I have some hail damage on my dish which did hurt the signal a little but I'm going to replace it soon with a 10' dish that a friend gave me if it has Ku compatible mesh, I haven't seen it yet. If not, I...

Re: NewsMax tv
I watch This TV on 3900v and that transponder is dead. Not the whole bird, just that one transponder so I don't know what to think.
EDIT: It's back but weak. Also, I have a black screen with sound.

Thank you. If that's where it went, I'll never get it because I'm too far out of Eutelsat 115 West B's foot print.840 wrote:try 115 west ,the tv channels are there and i think the radio channels are on 105 west.

Re: powervu keys
I used to get 139 west AMC8 4080v 30000 but I think it wasn't encrypted. I can't get it now no matter what I do. Does it take keys now? Yes, you need keys now. Thanks iq180 but now it's totally dead. No signal at all. I read that the radio stations are moving off of AMC8 to AMC 18 and I'm scanning ...

Re: DiSEqC 1.2 positions
Wow Owen, I get it. I know about hex and hex editing and see what you did there. It should be able to do 256 positions with two characters of storage space, from 00 to FF hex. I would think you can't use more than the two character hex entry and 256 would be plenty! If the firmware file is too diffi...

Re: Freesat V8 super getting stuck and quick changing
Yes, I'm getting total box freeze ups if I change channels real fast by holding down the channel button. It has happened two times in a week. I think it may depend on what satellite you're on because sometimes I can do it and it will not lock up, but I don't do it often anyway. I don't remember whic...

Re: How to Record a Specific Channel on V8 Super?
Also wondering if under DVR Config should "Time Shift" be ON or OFF? What does it do, and under Jump, there are 5 settings: 1 Min, 5 Min, 10 Min, 5 Sec, 10 Sec, and 30 Sec. What are those Jump Settings for? Any replies would be very much appreciated. Turn Time Shift ON. Time Shift is delayed playba...

Re: Firmware Update Request
Well, there is another reason to fix the dish taking off problem. When I go to Anik F2 to look at the guide on CityTV as soon as I hit the EPG button the dish takes off over to Decades, the last channel I was on. I can't get it to show me the EPG for CityTV. This dish moving on its own is a serious ...

Me too, I would've assumed it'd be a V8. I'm looking forward to more specifications on it so I can compare it to a V8.dhj wrote:Being a V8 owner I don't usually check the V7 forum so I just happened on this. Surprised its V7, thought V8 was the latest models.

Re: chipset of freesat
I think I read the V8 specifications somewhere but I forgot where so I am not sure about the V8 but the V7 uses a Montage SOC.
Montage M88CS6001-U Dual-Core SoC with built-in demodulator
64MB of DDR2-1066 SDRAM
4MB Flash Memory
Maybe a Freesat will post it here for us. I'm curious to know also.

Re: Here is how to Upgrade S905X
Hello, thanks for your service...but how can you say ithere is no problem' ? Are you the development ? Do you use a rotor using usals for the positionning ? As it is impossible to put longitude and latitude in the usals screen, the rotor cannot work. It is ok if you only use one satellite but NOT w...

Re: No Chinese Banned Word anymore
You have to scan some channels before it will exit the menu because there is no where to exit to. Set up a satellite, scan a channel and hit exit. And, the Chinese are building a lot of things these days so you better throw that iPhone out the car window! By the way, sell the car, it has Chinese cra...

Re: Building Network For Sat2IP
There seems to be some confusion about staying in the SAT2IP menu, you do not have to stay in it. And yes, the TV will stay on one channel while the computer views another, if they are on the same TP. I have V8 crashes if I use wifi with the newest FW and I had a little trouble with the older FW but...

Ok, I connected the V8 by wifi to my Cisco AP, it's wireless N and I used the 2.4 GHz radio. I could not find the connection speed because I am just learning Cisco IOS. I don't think it has any throttling going on, but again, I'll have to look up and learn how to check. According to the Web Interfac...
