Carried out a scan of the said transponder 12322v 27500, Discovery Turkey and Discovery Science, both went to Radio.
Using the db editor, i then edit the v-pid on Discovery Turkey put in 1100, with Discovery Science 1500, in the (tv flag) put number (1).
When i put the information back into the receiver, both channels (cleared). TLC Balkans HD has changed to (Viaccess).
I am still having a issue with two channels, Animal Plant Europe 101 / 102, this is with a V8X, you should be able to carry out the same action with your receiver.

When you make changes like that you also need to change the SID so the auto TP info does not set the apid / Vpid back.
Use a SID of zero or a SID that is not on the TP.

You can also add the Apid for a radio channel to the info of a video channel, but again change the SID.

I dont understand

If you change the information on a channel, there is a part of the software that will change it back to what the satellite is showing.
The service identification, SID is the reference.
The data coming from the satellite is checked and if the data for a channel is changed, it changes the stored data in the set top box automatically.
If you do not change the SID this will happen.

So if you change the APID or add a APID to a channel, to stop that being changed back you need to change the SID to one that is not used on that TP.

So if you change the APID on a TV channel on the same TP to match the radio channel you want to show on the TV channel list you also need to change the SID.
After this if you do a scan of the TP the TV channel will be added to the list in addition to the one you have now changed the SID for.
I have dome this so I can listen to a radio channel with out having to change from the TV list to the radio list and or watch a TV channel while listing to a radio channel.

12360 fre. i scanned now all channels removed radio !!!

Have carried out scans on both 5e and 1w, with a V8X receiver, amended the (v_pid) with the (db editor) including (Euro Sport 2).
i can view 21 channels on 5e, 12322v 27500 (11), 12360v 27500 (10) two other unable to decode.
I can view 19 channels on 1w 12302v 27500, three other unable to decode.

It is not the video type you need to change, it is the SID service ID.

When i have scanned in the transponders on 5e/1w which are the ones for the Discovery channels, some of the channels come up as (Radio) channels.
The (sid) is already in it's (field), but does not have the (v_pid) which is (0).
With the db editor, i then amend the (TV flag) to (1) and in the (v_pid) field i put in the number which is the same as the (sid).
Those are the only two fields that i amend, all the other information, just leave the rest as it is.

Where is compel software? Dear admins?

Instead of editing the channel to add missing pids just ADD a new channel in the TP with just the sid 0 and the proper VPID APID PCR. Not other features. When editing the scanned channel it will keep the original or revert back once detected.

I am downloading the ts file,and will check the root cause of this issue.

By the look of it now, the two transponders are now down, have lost the said channels, the transponder at 1w is still working with new software on the V8X, but for how long.

yes.
they are changed to the 9E satellite,and encrypted mode is viaccess.
