Hello

Yes, you need softcam for Europe/Asia region. I will send you link to download.

Once you point you dish to 116e just run a blindscan. That will download all the channels for you

Here is a link that show you how to enter or backup the softcam.key file

Only half the channels on that 4180H 30000 open as the other have improved encryption.

Good luck.

Thank you so much sir for the softcam but I can't seem to locate 166.0E. Do you know the angle that I should be pointing to? Also 4180 doesn't appear on my LNB Freq. I'm sorry for so many questions. I'm new to this.

Have a look at "DISHPOINTER", put in your location and the satellite you require.
This will give you all the information that you require.

The LNB frequency is the "Low Frequency" and for most C band LNB's that is set to 5150.
After that you can do a blind scan to get the channels.

If you need to, you can enter the TP frequency 4180 H 30000 in using the add on the TP menu.
As STRETCH said use dish pointer dot com for find the sat location in the sky.

Good luck

All the discovery channels are gone after they changed the powervu format.

Use a One Cable Solution LNB. It has two local oscillator frequencies: 5150 and 5750.
When your location is near cellphone towers possible interference will make it difficult to lock to that frequency 4180mhz. After trying both osc. Freq I finally got a signal quality lock.

Not all those channels work on 4180 H 30000.
Some are newer formats of powervu and others are different again.

ANC and ANC Global do auto roll. wait on those for the unit to find the code.

BBC on both frequencies also roll.
