Sounds odd.

You can rename a satellite (edit) and then delete the TP's and scan in what you need.

How many channels and how many satellite do you have on your lists?

Do you have the parental / menu controls on?

Hi,

I also noticed the same problem with the GT Media V8X but the satellites can be added directly by inserting them into the set top box, this also applies to GT V7 Pro, a suggestion from @ M9800 italian Digital Forum, once added they also appear in the editor.

My current list includes 64 satellites + 4 fake satellites on false positions named Cluster. One xx to do temporary blindscan searches.

Alternatively there is a hidden folder in DVB Editor, inside there is a V8X_config.xml file that should be modified, this is a suggestion from @Ramsete 4 from italian Digital Forum.

the line to modify should be this: <sat size = "448" max_num = "64">

this is the result of experimentation, nothing is guaranteed, and you do it at your own risk.

this is the discussion on the Italian Digital Forum:

Code: Select all

Cluster. One also known as "Foxbat" on italian Digital Forum.
