High noise level in analogic audio signal

Post by Max1971 »

Hello,
I've just received a V7 PRO device to connect to an old CRT TV through TV or AV cable.
The device works properly with HDMI connection (tested on another LCD TV), but when I try to use Antenna or SCART connection, video is OK but audio channel is just a white noise.
I've already updated firmware to last version (V275) without success.

Someone could help me?

Have you checked the (audio) settings, Menu / System / AV Settings / Audio Out (LPCM OUT / BSOUT).

Check that you are using a 3.5mm LONG plug AV cable.

Feralkiwi is correct, there are about 3 or 4 different length AV pins out there you will find online and at stores and only one will work correctly on both audio and video.

They sell the ones for GTmedia products here - https://www.gtmedia.shop/collections/accessories-417

Good Luck!
