V7 S2X - problem with transponder frequency range

Problem 1

I've just updated the firmware (shown above) and I am having problems setting the transponder frequency for Intelsat 901/907.

As Intelsat 901/907 at 27.5W isn't listed, I manually added this satellite. I want to scan 11495 V 44100.

I then tried to add a transponder (11495 V 44100). However, it wouldn't let me do this as it said that frequency was higher than was supported.

It used to work (before I updated the firmware). Any ideas how to solve this (other than going to an earlier version of the firmware) please?


Problem 2

In the menu option Tools, there used to be a Conditional Access sub-menu. This sub-menu is no longer showing.

1-What LNB type are you using? Universat 9750-10600??? Have you tried to do a Blindscan once you are in 27.5W to see if the box can pick the TP??

2- Conditional Access is usually hidden in the Network section (right side) and type 6666 on your remote control. It was probably visible on older versions ad now hidden

You were right, I had selected the wrong LNB frequency which was causing the problem. Once I set it correctly I found the transponder and channels I was looking for. I am able to watch the encrypted channels.

I still can’t find the Conditional Access menu. That has disappeared. I don’t need it at the moment but I may do in the future.

Conditional Access used to be in Tools from where you entered 6666 to get to the CA functions.

As you suggested, the CA functions have been moved to Network and you now need to enter 6666 before you can see any mention of CA.
