softcam.key

Post by pangelo »

Hi,
I would like to upgrade My V7 Pro and I have found the firmware and the installation instructions. One question:

How can I "export the softcam.key to usb device"?

Carry out the following, Insert USB into the receiver, with the remote, Menu/Scroll to Network/Move the curser to the right to Network Config/then press 6666 / Key Edit comes up, scroll to it, then press OK. At the net page, press the(Green)button on the remote (Export), this will send your softcam details to the USB. when finished, press exit.
After you have upgraded your receiver, to (Import) the softcam details, carry out as before, but this time, press the (Red) button on the remote, this will send the keys back onto the receiver, when it is complete (Saving Data Finished)(OK), then you can remove the USB.

I have v7pro with last release 322. In my device this mode dont work.
If i Press green button , It Will open the Page to write manually the codes. It dont send my softcam to USB.
If i Press Red button, on the screen appears the message " import failed".
In my USB i have the file cccam.cfg.
The USB Is connected to device. With this USB i have update the software.

You have pressed OK, and gone onto the page to amend/insert keys. You have gone to far.
Just carry out as per my post.

My post is about import/export keys in the softcam.
With your issue, carry out as per my post, then you should move the curser to (CS Protocol) Press OK, then action as you wish.

I repeat, in the cs protocol to import the clines is infeasible for me.
I move to cs protocol, but
If i Press Red button, on the screen appears the message " import failed".
In my USB i have the file cccam.cfg.

Check that it is spelled correctly
C:url port name password
C: url port name password
In mars both are valid

CCcam.cfg is correct on fat32 USB instead
cccam.cfg is correct on any NTFS device
With Mars the problem of capital letters in NTFS has already disappeared
