Hi, I just bought a GT Media V7HD box and have an account which uses NewCam/Mgcam. Intermittently, I noticed some glitch and I guess it is when the box fetch the ecms.
Is there some settings I can change in order to have a more smooth experience when watching the channels on the box?

Change the URL for the IP, you can gain 20 ms by not using DNS

I have already done that but still having the glitch. Another thing I noticed, dont know if its related, the status ecm ready sometimes change to ping waiting.

Check the router's Wi-Fi channel in case it is saturated

The box is basically in a new house, only thing connected to the router's wifi is the box itself and my mobile.

I mean saturation by neighbors

Ive tried it at two places and same outcome. Don't you think it is something else?

It is possible, check the temperature of the WiFi antenna, I would put a USB extender

I checked the temperature and it is normal. My friend has another box V7s HD and for him it plays smoothly. I dont think there is much difference between v7 hd and v7s hd.

Check at your friend's house if the problem is from the internet or the protocol, you already know that it cannot be shared, that causes cuts

Yes I need to check that to remove any doubt about the internet connection.

Ive checked at my friend house and the issue was still present, so no internet connection problem. I tested another softcam keys which works well on another stb and got same issue. Finally ive concluded the issue is with the box itself.
