gtmedia v7pro rs232

I am going to buy gtmedia v7pro. when checking the photos of it I did not see RS232 input for it.
does it have RS232 input?
if it does not have RS232 how can we flash the FW if some FW crash happed?

The RS232 port connection is inside the unit.
RS232 recovery here.

With normal GT Media software, not Mars, you can use the USB flash.bin recovery method.

Recovery with Mars is different and uses update.bin
Mars can only return to normal GT Media software via RS232

I want a v7pro without Mars.
I wanted to know wether it is possible to change Fw to normal if bychance the seller sends a one with mars.

У меня с Mars через rs232 не прошивается на старую прошивку Gtmedia

Обновил на свою голову прошивку Mars, а на ней не находит 3 цифровых канала из 20. И внешний жёсткий диск перестал читать.
Как откатиться на обычную нормальную прошивку? Какой провод нужен?

Hi feralkiwi,
but for V7pro from mars to stock the guide speak about connect a lan cable for V7pro on the same network where is the pc. But the V7pro not have rj45 port only wifi.
But will be possible have a clear tutorial for V7pro downgrade from mars firmware ??

Yes you would need to have wifi set up to use that method.

You can still put the file on the USB stick and load it from there.

Удалось вернуться на старое по с Mars через rs232,на флешку помешаете файл с по,переименовать в flash.bin,вставляете в ресивер,подключаете шнур rs232,запускаете программу на компьютере,выбираете com port,и убирает галочку с tftp,затем ok,перегружает питание ресивера и пошла загрузка
