MARS Network VPN function

Hi,
I am V7PRO user with the last MARS firmware update (15/01/2023).

Your VPN Function guide (PDF: download/file.php?id=11247) is quite interesting,... but not sufficient to choose a Web provider.
Could you explain if the MARS Network "VPN" configuration is for a real VPN client, or for a secured Proxy client ?

What are the protocols allowed for this function ?
. VPN client: IPSec, SSTP, Wireguard,...
. Proxy client: HTTPS Proxy Server, SOCKS Proxy Server,...
