V7TT crashes and doesn't work anymore

Hi, I bought a V7TT on March 4, 2022 and these days it often happens that it freezes completely. The display is on but blocked. Signal not is available. It is necessary to turn it off at the rear switch and turn it on again to restart.
Or it happens that it turns off and on repeatedly, displaying the message "boot" on the display. What could be the cause and how can I resolve it?

You could try another power supply, one that is 12v 2amp.

Used another power supply 5Volt 2Amp and crash as same.

I tried with the terrestrial antenna cable disconnected but it doesn't change the behavior.
On some channels the picture is often frozen and the audio is noisy. Sometimes it recovers but often it is impossible to see some channels.
I tried another decoder of a different brand and with the same antenna, same television works correctly on all channels.
Where can I take it for assistance for a check?

Try reinstalling the software or even just a factory reset.

Note save your user data file / channel list and any softcam.key codes etc first.

Hi,
I did the factory reset twice but not solved.

Trying to reinstall the software could be really harmful because if it crashes during this operation then the firmware would be corrupted and would then not work permanently.

After many restarts sometimes it turns on but it often happens that it blocks again.
Watch the attached video:
- I turn it on from the rear button and only the green LED is displayed but it doesn't boot/load
- I turn it off and as you can see the antenna is not connected nor the HDMI cable
- I try to turn it on again but it always stays blocked

Please, is there a way to get assistance in a center or replacement with a working device?

Do the forced recovery.
You will lose your user channel list and softcam, so if you do get it going save both first.

Is the unit hot?
Heat makes these units crash.

If it does crash during recovery there is the rs232 recovery as well.

After this during first install with auto search crash (see attached video)

The temperature unit is normal and the crash occurs even if the unit has been turned off for many hours.

Do you have the DVB-t antenna power "ON"?

Does it crash in a search if the antenna is not connected?

Did you save a user data file / channel list that you can reload?

Can you manual scan one frequency only and see TV?

What do you mean <DVB-t antenna is turned "ON">? Connected? YES

The DVB-T antenna is passive.

Maybe I didn't explain myself: the crash is random in any condition but cannot always be replicated with the same operation:
-sometimes crashes during startup
-sometimes crashes while watching
-sometimes crashes during search

Now after trying 4 times the search is terminated.

But while watching it freezes like in the videos I sent you.

Did you have see the videos attached in "V7 TT crash.zip"?

Tried powering on with the LNB cable disconnected.
Tried a factory reset.
Tried reinstalling the software.
Tried the forced recovery.
All not solve.

In this case, after two months of testing and without being able to use it, will there be a way to definitively resolve it?

There is a menu option to turn on antenna power to supply a amplifier.
If that is on and your cable system acts like a short, the unit will struggle.

Yes if all this has not solve the issue, then the unit may have a memory or other fault.

One last thing.
Add a wire between the TV ground and the antenna ground on the unit.
This will stop any ground currents that may be causing issues.
Also check you do not have a cell phone network internet modem close.

The Antenna Power is OFF. This is visible in the video "Crash during install-auto search.mp4" zipped in "Forced recovery and crash after.zip", unit crashed during Auto Search.
After the reset I did not configure any wi-fi connection on the decoder and I normally don't share cellular internet via tethering.
