I have purchased a 38” dish and a single lnb. I have managed to lock onto W97.00 KU Galaxy 19. I’ve gotten a 60 percent signal quality and have scanned and picked up ch 4,5 and 6 only. This is my first time using fta equipment. I have a V7-S5X receiver Any guidance would be appreciated.

Have a look at (dishpointer), put in your post code, and the satellite/s you require, after the search, put the (X) to where your dish is.
This will help get the dish at the correct angle, and pointing in the right direction.
Let us users know what you wish to do with the receiver that you have.

Can you post TP frequency for those ch 4,5 &6?
Is the LNB Universal 9750-10600??

Yes it is universal 9750-10,6. I had originally ran a blind scan using LNB 3620 because it was the only the only one that showed a signal. I set it to universal 9750-10,6 this morning and ran another scan and picked up 13 channels. I think I may need to play with dish alignment a little more.

When the signal is low the blind scan will name the channels with their SID number not the text of their names.
dishpointer will also tell you what skew you need for the LNB, that is the rotation of the LNB.
