O meu aparelho apagou o display, só aparece quando eu ligo, depois de 5 segundos ele fica na tela apagada.
Como devo proceder para que a tela volta a acender?

Please confirm what model you have, with what software.

It may be that you have a PAL or NTSC only TV and the first screen is always default PAL.
There is this method to change video formats and if your remote has one try the "TV Mode" button.

Added fast key to switch video output mode or format.

Press menu key to main menu.(Panel show "----")
press Green key to switch NTSC/PAL, the panel will show "PAL " or "NTSC"
Press Stop key to switch the video format
PAL mode : the panel will show "576I" -- "576P" -- "720P"(50HZ) --"1080I"(50HZ) --"1080P"(50HZ)
NTSC mode : the panel will show "480I" -- "480P" -- "720P"(60HZ) --"1080I"(60HZ) --"1080P"(60HZ)
