Does anybody here use Scart? I lost HDMI port to lighting and wondering how it works.

Never used SCART myself but I know there are (SCART to HDMI Converter Boxes) that you can buy. Google it.

Just google and cost more than I paid for box. Yikes!! I just use the RCA for now. I was wondering is there another GT media box that will work side by side with my GT Orange that will not be controlled by the same remote.

Scart connector are cheap. Less tha $5 uSD. Make sure you buy one that allow to input and output video switch. Some of the are only to input video. You will need to output

Besides the cable I read that you have to put thru a power box to get true HD. Thanks guys I will do more research.

I never read about a power box as being needed for SCART but i've never used one either. LOL

If you lose your HDMI on receivers it might be good to get the V8 Nova Blue as it has RCA Jacks on the back instead of SCART.

Scart only does SDTV, even if you are watching an HDTV channel Scart will down convert it to SD.
