Nova V8 Orange PVR

Do others have problems using the PVR like skips or one cant fast forward

I use the skip forward.
While watching a video play back press the ok button to bring up the play banner and then press the right arrow to jump forward a few times.
With HD I then press the OK button again to make it happen.

Thanks I tried that many  times sometimes works or  it just goes to the beginning or just doesn't want to go past a certain time frame  I found if 1 just push the red button then enter time works better 
I have this problem for the past 1.5 years now and yes  box updated
Oh yea this boxes skips time frames too while watching on PVR
