Eutelsat 117W locks V8

Until recently I never tried to scan Eutelsat A/B 117W. I find it repeatedly locks up the V8 Super receiver during either a blind scan or if manually entering the transponders. Sometimes up to 15% or as high as 35% and there it hangs forever. Let it sit 30 minutes and eventually requires a power down to reboot.

Anyone else find this?

Yep, the freesat don't like that bird, if you scan 2 TPs at a time it will scan ok.

I never had that happen on 117w but I have on various other satellites and transponders with my V8's and a V7hd

My V8 Nova Orange just blind scanned all the way through, 130+ tv channels and some radio ch's without stopping.

That Eutelsat 117 is actually at 116.8w so maybe check and see if you have the 116.8 set for the Sats location, I don't know if it makes a difference but it has always scanned through on a blind scan for me.

I watch the Claro Channels there sometimes ! ------- Good Rock Concerts on the Concert Ch.

That Eutelsat 117 is actually at 116.8w so maybe check and see if you have the 116.8 set for the Sats location, I don't know if it makes a difference but it has always scanned through on a blind scan for me.

Do you have the frequencies for those transponders with 150 channels? Is it c or ku?

Enter 3720 V 27000 on the C-band side and make sure you peak that transponder signal wise and scan. I get 150 video and 2 radio and then you can scan the Ku side.

Hola... He leído aquí que los receptores de GTmedia se AutoRoll PowerVu pero no BISS, tipo de interesante aunque porque se sentó en revueltos en un canal BISS durante unos 2-3 minutos y luego comenzó a jugar por lo que sin duda parecía un rollo sin mí añadir llaves.
