Video Mode Not Supported

Post by Wilis13 »

This may have already been asked but I can't find the answer:
After updating software on V8 Nove Orange how do I change the video mode back to NTSC?
I guess it goes to PAL as default after upgrading.

From what i've seen it usually goes to (Auto) on my V8 Nova, some other models may differ.

On your remote click (Menu)
Then go to (System)
Then (AV Setting)

Very first item is TV System (Auto, Pal or NTSC) are the selections

If you are stuck and only can see the "Video Not Supported" press menu key to main menu.(Panel show "----")
press Green key to switch NTSC/PAL, the panel will show "PAL " or "NTSC"
Press Stop key to switch the video format
PAL mode : the panel will show "576I" -- "576P" -- "720P"(50HZ) --"1080I"(50HZ) --"1080P"(50HZ)
NTSC mode : the panel will show "480I" -- "480P" -- "720P"(60HZ) --"1080I"(60HZ) --"1080P"(60HZ

I have the blue nova ver and when I have this problem I correct by pushing the " TV MODE " button located on the top left side of the remote . After pushing I must wait a little for it to take affect .
