Biss keys do not work in the latest firmware V8 Golden (20/06/2019)

Post by Vlad »

Hi dear developers. Biss keys do not work in the latest firmware V8 Golden. After upgrading to a new firmware version from (20/06/2019), keys that were exported to the UIC and imported back do not work. On the screen Coded program.

Before the firmware update, everything worked, why is it not working now?

No idea. Redo all what you did including factory reset after updating

Does not help, redo all what you did including factory reset after updating...
I rolled back to the firmware from 08/04/2019 and everything began to work again. Apparently the problem is in the latest firmware version. Need to report the problem to the developers.

I updated to the new firmware and determined that the BISS emulator does not work at all, I add the keys manually through the menu but the channels are not decoded!

I updated my super v8 with the July 2019 firmwate and the biss key worked perfectly, unlike other firmwares, just turn off and turned on the super v8 and it worked, considering you have the right key
Summary: When you enter the biss key, when saving, turn off the STB and turn it back on.

The checksums are all wrong in your screenshot. Make sure the option to ignore checksums is enabled ... you will find it here MENU > SYSTEM > OTHER SETTINGS > SKIP CW CHECKSUM. Most probably you had it set before but with the update it changed.

From you screenshot keys #1,2,4,5,6 & 8 have invalid checksums and will not work unless the 'skip CW checksum' is enabled. The rest have valid checksums and should work if their code has not changed. Other users have confirmed that their biss keys are working with the latest update, but I imagine they are using biss keys with valid checksum bytes.

Friend, CW checksum is disabled. On the firmware from 08/04/2019 all the keys work. After updating to the latest firmware version and import softcam.key biss emulator does not work at all. Satellite Astra A4 and Yamal 90. If you want check this satellites. In firmware bug.

OK... well this topic has aired the problem so hopefully the devs will see this and check it out. It could well be a failure in the firmware, as you have tried all possible solutions. :D

Yes, before update firmware good works, I export to file softcam.key to the USB flash drive, install the latest firmware, scan the channel list, export file softcam.key back in my box, but the channels in the encoding are not decoded, the reason is unknown. :( :( :(
