GTMedia V8 PRO2 Firmware(25/10/2019)F/W Video issue

Post by Xsat »

Hi GTMedia all,

When zapping channels, it takes time for video to appear.
This is because the 22K tone switch is turned OFF / ON every time the Universal LNB (auto) is set.
For this reason, QPSK / lock cannot be performed and there is no signal and no video is output.
As far as I know, This problem occurs only for V8Pro2.
Please correct this meaningless 22K tone switch.

Remember the for a universal LNB the 22kHz tone is automatic.
No tone for the low band and tone ON for the high band.

If you are having issues. then set up two sats for that LNB, one with 9750 and 22kHz OFF and the other with 10600 and 22kHz ON.

All sat units set the 22kHz tone to auto for a universal LNB.

Also check that you have DiSEqC set to "once" in the Other settings, not twice or three times.
This will shorten the switch command time before the unit looks for video and allow more time for a TP lock.
I have a similar issue with low SR TP's, like 1400 or 1600.

Thank you Owen.

When using this model and rotating the antenna with a DiseqC motor,
Turn the 22K_SW OFF / ON to the target satellite.
You can see this by looking at the signal in Real Spectrum Analyzer.

Why should 22K_SW be turned off / on when the motor is running
Is it there?

LNB life test is not required.

I hope *
Please correct this problem as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance,

Sony E-India on AsiaSat 7 100.5E freq 4180 V PowerVu channels are not Autoroll.
They use hashModeCw:1, modeCW:3. My Super V8 was working it.
However, My V8Pro2 Some channels are only audio no Videos.
How do i fix it?
