Guardar lista de canales

Post by cabezudos »

Hola, tengo el Nova 8 Orange y quisiera hacer una copia de seguridad de mi lista de canales personal antes de hacer una actualización. Por cierto, ¿cuál me aconsejáis? Gracias.

First Format USB Memory Stick in Fat32 on your PC, small Memory stick is better (around 10GB if you have it)

Save some things off your Receiver onto USB before doing any update !
1. Make a copy of your Receivers Satellite and Channels - Find under TOOLS/USB DUMP/User DB
2. If you have an installed Softcam.key file then save it - Find under TOOLS/Conditional Access/6666-Key Edit/ Green button = Export on Remote (Saves all keys including rolled keys)

Save a Copy of the two above to your PC files (Save Update for your Receiver and these 2 files above every time you do an update)

3. Unzip and install the latest Hash/Update or bug fix onto USB and update Receiver using (Tools/USB Upgrade/Allcode Mode) select update and Install.
4. Install all the saved satellites and channels TOOLS/USB Upgrade/User DB - Install
5. Install softcam keys for your location - TOOLS/Conditional Access/6666-Key Edit/ Red Import button
(Note if Softcam reinstall fails then rename softcam.key file on USB to ( softcam ) and retry!
6. Reconnect Receiver to internet if needed... most GTmedia boxes have an internal (Wi-Fi) antenna
7. Reboot and watch TV

Get your V8 Nova Orange updates here - viewtopic.php?f=40&t=7791 --- Latest is Oct 25th
Save to PC and unzip and put the file on your USB for updating!

Good Luck ! :D

Hola.

If I read you correctly it didn't wipe the old information. That is odd because (normally) when you install a firmware update it will wipe off your Satellites, Channels, keys, wifi information, etc. and it will reinstall the factory (Europe Sats) and if you live in NA or SA or have your own Sat and Channel list they will be gone and that is why its always best to save what you can onto the USB (Before) you install the Receivers update.

I also save them in a file on my PC so they won't be lost if I need them later.

Good Luck ! :D
