Como poner softcam al Gtmedia v8 UHD 4K

Me llego ya mi nuevo v8 UHD 4K.

Podrían decirme por favor, como ponerle el softcam a este equipo?

En anteriores equipos, me iba a conditional access y presionaba 6666 y aparecía.

Pero en este equipo eso parece no funcionar. Ni en Tools, upgrade by USB, trae la opcion de softcam.

Hi, my new v8 UHD 4k is finally here at home.

Could you tell me please, how do i put the softcam.key into this receiver?

On Gtmedia Nova i just went to Conditional Access, and press 6666 on my remote, but in this new v8 UHD that isnt working anymore. I even went to Tools section, then USB, but still no option to upload my softcam.key.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

BTW, is it possible for the next update to add the option to change E to W (east to west) in the edit satellite section, there isnt an option to change it to WEST, only East.

Also youtube, showing NETWORK ERROR, no matter if i am at wi-fi or ethernet.

Do you have an estimate date for the new v8 UHD 4K firmware?

Looking to test the new AutoBiss function (not available in the factory firmware May 20).

I'm eagerly, waiting to test this new function in American Satellites, mainly wild feeds at 95w,97w,99w,101w, and 103w

Any aproximate date? I already have my v8 UHD 4K, but no autobiss, means no fun for me

Ya tengo mi V8 UHD 4k. Le subí el sotfcam con el que trabaja el equipo gt media V8 pro 2 sin embargo el equipo V8 UHD no abre los pwr vu del Satélite 40.5w ses 6. Alguien me puede ayudar ya que tengo cargada la emm key y ni así abre los canales mix Fox y amc.

* In my humble and novice point of view, URGENT busy receiver an update, since being at 58W most PV channels were freezing the image, I didn't have to go far to notice it, starting from channel 001 (NHK)
Everything started well, but when I got to the Discovey Turbo (PV), the image was freezing, so I kept changing the channel, thinking that turbo channel had some transmission problem, and to my surprise, the following channels in the guide, The same thing happened to them.

I noted this too.
The softcam.key file when saved from the UHD if different than the other units.
I think the issue is the keys need to be installed differently.
My unit came clear after a few minute, I think it auto rolled the keys for it self.

I do not have the V8 UHD yet, but I saw some pictures, and the interface is so similar to the GTC that honestly I was scared that this new receiver is Android as well. Hopefully NOT but since your comment regarding the SoftCam.key format now I have more doubts...

Can you export and look at the file after it does some autoroll as you mentioned? What format does it show?

In notepad on the PC there are no returns, so the file behaves like a single line of text.
I do not think there has been a auto powervu roll to see yet.
These may just be what I imported into the unit.
BISS channel are working with the imported sofcam file.

The Philippines channels on Intelsat19@166e 4180H30000 are stop start and what is shown is in 4x3 format, compressed with black on each side of the screen. Should be 16.9
BBC and CNBC TP's are working fine.

Only the main menu looks like the GTC.

Definitivamente necesita una actualización nel equipo ya que se congela con muchos canales en pwr vu. The Fox Channel en el Satelite 40.5w se congela mucho la imagen y no se dejan ver. Cómo hay otros canales en el 40.5w que si funcionan sin problemas como lo son los AMC network 40.5w.

Yes, V8UHD use the same softcam format as V8X.

I have a question about the AUTOBISS functtion.

Basically, the autobiss function in the v8x and the new v8UHD 4K, will be shared between all the users, am i right?

For example, if someone's receiver, upload a small piece of video to the server, and a few minutes later, receive the key.... that key will be stored at the main server, and then all others receivers will get the same key, without uploading anything. Right?

And, according to your post, the channel MUST HAVE the correct longitude, frequency and SID to get the key from other people's calculations (uploaded).

So, its my understanding that, no matter what we have or write in the "satellite name", as long as he have the correct longitude, freq, and SID, we are gonna get the key from previous users.

If by mistake, i use 113e, instead of 113w, i wouldnt get the correct key right?

Also if my SR or frequency is different by 1 point, for example 30001/H instead of 30000/H, will i get the correct key?
or it HAS TO BE the exact same frequency?? Sometimes the transponder changes by a fraction, for example i scan a tp as 3980 H 15000, and other user scan it as 3979 H 15000, is this gonna be a problem too ? or only users scanning tp 3980 H 15000 will get the keys?

Sorry, too many questions, but hope you get the idea of my doubt.

Thank Goodness at last someone asks me this question.
OK, let me explain to you one by one.
1. Yes, AutoBiss will be shared by all users of all products.
2. Yes, only you are using the correct longitude/frequency/SID, you can get keys from other people's calculations (uploaded). If you are not, you will need to upload by yourself. Then you can not enjoy the most power of this AutoBiss system.
3. Yes, 113e and 113w are totally different. but name of satellite, name of channel and symbol rate are not used, you can set it as your wish.
4. No, you must use the exact same longitude/frequency/SID(SR are not included) to benefit from other users. If they are just different by 1 point, you are not using the correct frequency. I know this is bad, but it is very complex to accept a frequency with an offset. Anyway, when the users are enough, maybe there are other users using the same wrong frequency as you.

I have a gt media v8 UHD and I uploaded the sotfcam that I have wn wl gt media V8 pro 2 and it opens the channels in pwr vu in the satellites 40.5w, 43w, 55.5wy 58w however in several transponders the image freezes and it is impossible see. It would be good if you solve this failure in the update that comes up soon.

In the 43w Satellite there is a 4k channel and the image is incredible with the gt media V8 UHD. Greetings from Colombia. A loyal buyer of gt Media equipment.

It did not have a gtc. That decoder has been on the market for more than a year and with that failure it makes me think that the v8 UHD follows the same path. Hopefully not. Otherwise it would be the second failure of gt media with 4k equipment.
