hello
we will check it and fix it
Please solve that soon, this latest update is quite unstable, the receiver to any change freezes and this is quite annoying and YouTube still does not work.
hello
where are you from?
I need to test YouTube on the VPN in your country. Because in my internet,it is working ok.
we are still checking this issue.

Hello,

1.- In the last firmware (a some previous also) I have to turn on cccam lines every time a power on the box, by default the cccam lines are off when a power on the box, despite I have save the cccam lines correctly.

2.- I don't know when and from time to time but some times the image turns green, I have to restart the box or change the display to PAL, Auto or NTSC to watch the image with normal colors

Regards.
Similar issue with my V8 UHD with latest firmware. Everytime I switch on, cccam lines are in idle state. I have to stop the cccam line and start again and then it works ok. And when I said 'switch on', it means from standby state, I don't remove power supply.
ok,we will check and fix it.

Hello!

Im from Venezuela. I don't particularly use VPN, is it necessary to use VPN for YouTube to work?

Update post...:

I have restarted the receiver for 10 times since I applied the last update and I have opened the YouTube application and it has opened the video without problems and the receiver has not frozen.

V8UHD CCCam problem with french channels on ASTRA 19.2

works fine with same config on GtmediaV8X, V8turbo, but not with V8UHD.
Clines Only for french channels, works fine for spanish and english ones
any idea ?

Closed, problem solved with v 219.

Thank's to the GTmedia Team !

Just one remark : once CCCam line have been set to "ON", scrambled channels keep decoded when you turn to OFF the cline... ???

On the V8X, with the latest software, Menu / Tools / Conditional Access / OK / CA Information / 6666 / Key Edit / OK.
Various fields appear, bottom left to (import to the receiver.
Hope this helps.

Thank you, STRETCH.

I knew the process up to that point.
What I want to know is beyond that
Even if you import a soft cam key
It is not reflected on the screen, is it a specification?

Example: Even if you import the BISS key of the soft cam key
No matter what item I look at, the key I imported is
It didn't appear on the screen.

Is there a way to bring the imported key to the screen?

Also, in the next update, it will be adopted in V8 UHD
Please install the decoding function of BISS in V8X.
I also want to see 162ku NTV NEWS 24.

Thank you for your consideration.

When you "Export" your softcam.key file it is saved on your USB stick as "export_scoftcam.key" or "softcam_export.key".
To import it again you need to rename it using a PC to just "softcam.key"

I hope this was your problem.

Hello, GTMedia Team

Even if you rename it to softcam.key and import the BISS key
It was not displayed in the BISS item, but was displayed in the MGCAMD BISS item.

Please tell me the correct import procedure.

When you get to the (Key Edit) page with the list of encryptions, move the curser to (Biss) then press OK, this will then bring up to the TV screen all transponder details and keys, were you can edit with the remote, exit, then save.
When ever you (Export) a soft cam, to (Import) again all that i do is just rename it ( softcam). i have no issues in transfering my files from the USB to the receiver.
Hope this helps

@ skewer.
Are you using cccam to decode your channels, if so , other members should be along to help with this issue.
If you are using the receiver to find the (biss codes) for you, you will not be able to see those codes on the screen.
When you do a (export) of the softcam and when you view the file on your (PC) they should have a letter (F) at the front.
You could amend the file, by moving it up into the rest of your (biss) codes, amending the format, removing the (F) and putting in (B),
Then remove the line from (Auto ECM Key), after (importing) back into the receiver you should see the codes to the screen, under BISS.
I do not know how when you import your code that it ends up at (MGCAMDBISS).
Sorry i cannot help any further.

How are you decoding your channels on your receiver, softcam / cccam , if it is via cccam you may have to contact your provider.
Dish may out a litter/ internet may be poor / lot of users using the same provider.

With the latest software for V8PRO2 from 08.12.2020. when scanning channels blindly, it often happens that there is no signal, so the receiver does not find any transponders or any channels. Sometimes re-scanning finds transponders but not channels. The problem is usually solved by unplugging the receiver. This does not happen with previous software versions.

ok,we will check and fix it.
Hello. Any update about this issue?
I have found out more information. If DHCP is off, when I turn on the V8 UHD, I have to turn off the cccam lines and then on, in order to open the channels. But if DHCP is on, then I can see properly the channels without turning off-on the cccam lines. So it seems it is a bug only if DHCP is off.
However I need DHCP off to choose different DNS servers for the iptv service. Please check if the bug can be fixed.
